Silca S.p.A. is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for its Key Cutting and Key Duplicating Machine production plant. The maintenance technician will be responsible for ensuring the rapid resolution of malfunctions, particularly on machinery that performs precision machining, as well as on mechanical systems and plant installations (e.g. compressors and thermal power stations).

What you will be doing

• Reactive and preventive maintenance on plant installations;

• Fault finding;

• Repairs and interventions using the necessary equipment (e.g. manual lathes and milling machines, wire/electrode welding);

• Collaboration with electrical/electronic maintenance and process engineering.

What your background should be

• Diploma in technical or vocational studies;

• Many years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably on precision mechanical machinery/equipment;

• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and hydraulics;

• Licence to use forklift and vertical platform;

• Ability to use workshop tools such as lathes or manual milling machines.
